Print Design: Cultivation and Connection
Winter 2021 we were given the challenge to create three complimentary prints under the theme, "Cultivation and Connection."
My mind immediately went to travel and here are the prints.
The motifs in "Crimson Class" convey the sense of excitement and unknown of going somewhere new.
In "Dark White Noise" the gentle up and downs of the lines symbolize the tranquilizing sensation of a near silent midnight plane ride where all you can hear is the air around you.
Turbulence interprets the view while traveling over 31,000 feet in the atmosphere at 500 miles per hour.
Here are the three patterns displayed together demonstrating the excitement, the vision and the tranquility of travel.
